Recently, Disney released a 30-second tv spot at Super Bowl giving us first look at the upcoming MCU tv-shows Wanda Vision, The Falcon & The Winter Soldier and Loki. And we are gonna breakdown everything that was revealed in the new tv spot.
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier
So the Super Bowl has officially released our first look at the Falcon and the Winter Soldier. We see Sam Wilson the Falcon is using the shield that Captain America gave him at the end of Avengers’ endgame.
We see that he is practicing how to throw the shield, he’s not a super-soldier so it’s gonna take a little bit of time to perfect. After that, we cut to an action sequence where we see Falcon chasing some armed guys in wingsuits.
We also see Bucky holding a gun up to Baron Zemo and then he goes and empties and just drops all the bullets. We also see U.S. Agent with Captain America’s shield and also in his suit during a football game. So the government has taken the shield from Sam and given it to U.S. agent and he’s the one who represents America which sets up a story of him probably working with Baron Zemo.
The final shot was of Sam and Bucky agreeing to work together and this is probably from the first episode where the plot starts to unfold. These were all the details we got from the trailer about the Falcon and the Winter Soldier tv show. The Falcon and Winter Soldier will release this year in spring on Disney+.
Wanda and Vision
Now let’s get into the breakdown of exactly what is happening with Wanda Vision, so the footage we saw was interesting, confusing, and weird. They are playing with the psyche of Wanda and where she is.
First, we saw the black and white 50’s setting, then 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and so on. I’m guessing that they are playing with the fragmented psyche that Wanda has.
After losing Vision in Avengers Infinity War, she lost everything and probably locked herself away and in doing so, created her world. In one scene, we also saw Wanda wearing her comic-book accurate red suit.
Currently, nothing is confirmed and these are just speculations based on the footage we saw. It will be interesting to see how they handle these characters and what future these characters have in the MCU. Wanda Vision will release this year in Spring on Disney+.
Last but not the least, we also saw Tom Hiddleston and he just said one line “I’m gonna burn this place to the ground”. We don’t have any information about the show but recently it was reported that Owen Wilson and Sophia Di Martino will be joining Tom Hiddleston in the upcoming Loki series.
Last year at San Diego comic con it was revealed that Loki will be released in the spring of 2021.
